The Slimline pen is one of the most popular styles of ballpoint pen. It is about the same diameter as a standard #2 pencil, so it is a size that most
people are familiar with. Well suited for people with smaller hands or who just like a thinner, lighter writing instrument.
These pens come in one of the largest variety of finishes, both premium and economy. Some of the available finishes are:
Premium - 24kt gold plating, brushed satin, black enamel, rhodium, rose gold plating, titanium nitride, and black titanium.
Economy plating - gold, brushed satin gold, chrome, satin pearl, copper, and gun metal.
Slimline pens are ballpoint pens that use a twist mechanism and standard "Cross" style ballpoint refills. Refills are available at any office supply store. There is a Slimline click pencil available to make a matched pen/pencil set.
Slimline pens are normally made with straight lined barrels or a slightly beveled barrel for added width, a little more comfortable for larger hands. The photos show both of these styles, although they can be turned in just about any shape.
